Bernadette Zachara Marcos Biography
Bernadette Marcos is a talented Farmington Hills sculptor who studied at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and also studied folk art in Poland.
She was named the 2002 Artist in Residence by the Farmington Area Art Commission.
Bernadette has completed many public art commissions, including portraits of well-known figures such as the famous dancer, Mikhail Baryshnikov, advertising icon Ross Roy and hockey star Steve Yzerman.  Her bronze sculpture of a football player appeared in Sports Illustrated magazine.
Local visitors to the Farmington area are familiar with her sculpture of a young girl at Dunckel Middle School; Warner Mansion's bust of Governor Warner and the outdoor sculpture of Mrs. Warner and her daughter Edessa and her life size rendition of St. Fabian.
